The Chemotherapy Suite

Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford

The Helen Rollason Chemotherapy Suite opened in 2003 in the grounds of Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford.

It provides spacious facilities that can cater for many patients - patients who would otherwise have to travel great distances from home for vital treatment that can last the whole day.

The suite has been designed to create an environment of peace and tranquillity for patients and their families, supporters and staff. It provides:

A friendly reception area
A spacious 12 unit, patient-treatment lounge
Private Consultation and Examination Rooms
Disabled access to the kitchen and WC
Disabled access to the building

The Helen Rollason Chemotherapy Suite has been funded by The Helen Rollason Heal Cancer Charity and is now operated by The Mid Essex Hospital NHS Trust.
